We have been asked to gradually revoice several ranks of the organ at the First Presbyterian Church in Baldwinsville, NY – in accommodation to the church’s funds availability. The project is likely to take a long time, but this is a good example of our flexibility to meet various needs of our clients. The first stops that were revoiced were Aeoline 8’ and Salicional 8’ in the Swell division. The next in need of correction is Principal 4’ in the same manual. Little by little the organ should gain a “color to its face” which surely would change the overall tone perception. Revoicing projects are quite time consuming, yet very rewarding because of the obvious improvement in sound quality.
