National Recognition

The fruits of our labor and creativity enjoy great publicity, both locally and nationally. We have been on the front pages of many newspapers and magazines, and featured on TV in the newscasts. Indeed, we are humbled and honored with such splendid media exposure. We will continue to work hard to keep up the good work.

You can read any of the articles by clicking on the left side pictures.

We can say many things about the quality of our craftsmanship. However, we all know that the SOUND is what really matters! Our organ in Camillus already attracted two great European organists to make studio-quality recordings. Both CDs are available for free for those who seriously consider contracting us for any organ building projects.

You can find out the CD content by clicking on its right side picture.

If you would like to purchase a CD recorded on our organ, they are available for $15. Please contact us at CD@lewtak.com or call our toll free number 1-877-877-8769.

Front Page Appearances

"The organ at St. Joseph's in Camillus, New York, which I had the honour to inaugurate, is the most impressive Opus 1 indeed. The elegant solutions to a quite complex technical set-up, the unconventional yet pleasing architecture, and the overall sure-footed voicing bears witness to a new organ-building firm which will certainly go very far in the future."

Ulrik Spang-Hanssen
Professor of Organ
Royal Academy of Music
Aarhus, Denmark

"Lewtak Pipe Organ Builders have built a splendid European-style organ at St. Joseph's R. C. Church, Camillus, New York. The casework is elegantly hand-crafted to resemble seventeenth or eighteenth-century prospects, while the well-balanced, powerful choruses allow the performer to play all the literature with authority and conviction. A perfect blend of ancient and modern, the streamlined console provides countless levels of memory, allowing visiting organists the advantage of programming recital after recital without touching the service music for the Mass. The organ is a joy to play and it makes an important contribution to the art of organbuilding in America."

Gail Archer, DMA
Organ Faculty, Manhattan School of Music
Director of the Music Program, Barnard College, Columbia University

"At my parish we have a two-manual pipe organ. I must say, since the Lewtak Organ Builders have been maintaining our organ, the sound and tone quality have both improved. People at the parish think that we have a new pipe organ. Lewtak Organ Builders is truly dedicated to the parishes that they service. Their work is totally OUTSTANDING!"

Brother Edward-John Bick, pbsf
Music Director - Annunciation Church, Ilion, New York

"...Lewtak Organ Builders took the time to come to the church and thoroughly go through the entire instrument with me, as well as to explain the problems to members of the Church Board. The dedication and diligence that Lewtak Organ Builders has shown, as well as the quality of their work has impressed everyone in the church..."

Abel J. Searor
Organist, West Baptist Church Oswego
