Revoicing of a 50-plus rank organ is no easy task! It took several hundred hours of time and a lot of physical help from extremely dedicated church members and the organist. We transported our own voicing organ to the church, brought it upstairs to the choir loft which luckily was a very spacious place. Afterwards each rank was removed from the organ, voiced and put back. Then, the next rank, and so on, and so forth… for a total of nearly 3,000 pipes. The largest pipes were voiced in place without the trouble of removing them. The facade pipes were painted according to our advice, and once done we were able to voice those as well.
